The mobile app collects nothing

The Norwegian 4x4 app for iOS and Android does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party services of any kind. The app makes no network requests — it works entirely offline.

Your workout history stays on your device

Your interval settings and workout calendar are saved only in the app's local storage on your own device. They never leave it. Deleting the app (or clearing its data) permanently erases them. We have no copy and no way to see them.

Children

Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

The web version

A separate, private web version of Norwegian 4x4 exists for the developer's family at norwegian4x4.web.app. It requires Google sign-in, is restricted to an approved list of family accounts, and stores those users' workout dates in a private database. It is not available to the public and is not part of the app-store product.

Changes

If this policy ever changes (for example, if an optional cloud-sync feature is added), this page will be updated before the change ships, and the app's store listing will reflect it.
